A tribute to Alice Rohrwacher

In the details of the posters for the italian filmmaker’s movies, stories are told.

The posters for three films by Italian director Alice Rohrwacher bring stories to life. At the centre of each of "Lazzaro Felice", "Corpo Celeste" and "Le Meraviglie" stands a modern hero. In order to depict the distinct role of the protagonist, the composition of the posters is based on baroque ceiling frescoes, in which all components are pointing towards the centre of the painting.

Through composition and style the connection between the posters remains recognizable, three different techniques were applied—acrylics, pencils and paper cut. This way, each of them creates its own visual world while also making one curious about the film.
